Welcome message

It is a great pleasure to announce the 1st International Conference of Biomedical Engineering and Innovation (iCBEI), to be held between October 24 and 26, 2022 in Pécs, Hungary in the Szentágothai Research Centre.

The main goal of the Conference is to introduce you to cutting edge technologies, the greatest biomedical developments and appliances by internationally respected researchers and provide the opportunity for participants to share their ideas, experience and research from around the world.

The event is supported and sponsored by internationally distinguished IEEE EMBS (Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society) and established iCBEI as IEEE EMBS Regional Conference on Biomedical Innovation.

The Conference will provide social, scientific and business networking opportunities for young researchers as well. To encourage under- and postgraduate young researchers to participate, the conference is also recognised by IEEE EMBS SAC as EMBS International Student Conference.

We encourage you to submit your abstract with an opportunity to publish your work in the IEEE Xplore Journal.

To inspire individuals with biomed challenges, the Conference will host a Hackathon joined with EIT Health iDAYS. This could be a great opportunity for enthusiastic amateurs (students) to get an insight to the field and solve daily challenges related to biomedical engineering for great prizes with the aid of exceptional mentors.

We hope to see you in the mediterranean Pécs for a fantastic scientific program!
